You may upload up to 5 files.
Only provide evidence that is relevant to the report.
Before uploading anything, hide or remove unnecessary sensitive information such as:
- passwords;
- financial information;
- authentication codes;
- identity document numbers;
- private addresses; or
- unrelated personal information.
Important — suspected child sexual abuse material
Do not download, save, screenshot, copy, forward or upload suspected child sexual abuse material to VibeNest.
Instead, provide:
- the VibeNest profile URL;

- the username;
- and a written description sufficient for us to locate the material.
Do not redistribute the material as evidence.

Urgent Safety Concerns
Certain reports receive increased priority because of the potential risk involved.
Examples include:
- child sexual exploitation or abuse;
- grooming or exploitation of a child;
- credible threats of serious violence;
- an immediate risk to someone's physical safety;
- non-consensual intimate images;
- serious sexual exploitation;
- terrorism-related threats; or
- other serious illegal activity creating an immediate risk of harm.
Selecting Urgent Safety Concern does not guarantee a particular outcome, but it helps us identify reports that may require faster assessment.
Do not misuse the urgent reporting process to obtain faster treatment for ordinary disputes.
Child safety
Reports involving children receive additional consideration.
Where we become aware of suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse content, we may:
- immediately restrict access to relevant content or accounts;
- preserve information where legally appropriate;
- investigate associated accounts or activity;
- permanently suspend accounts;
- make legally required reports to relevant authorities or reporting bodies; and
- take other steps required to protect children and comply with applicable law.
Do not upload suspected child sexual abuse material as part of your report.
Non-Consensual Intimate Images
You may report an intimate image or video that you believe has been shared without the consent of the person depicted.
This includes applicable real or manipulated intimate material where its publication may violate our Community Standards or applicable law.
Where relevant, tell us whether:
- you are the person shown in the content;
- you are acting on that person's behalf;
- the content was shared without consent;
- the content is still present on VibeNest; and
- where the content can be located.
Please provide contact information where required for a legally recognised intimate-image report.
We may handle eligible intimate-image reports through an expedited process where required by applicable law.
Impersonation Reports
If somebody is pretending to be you, another person, an organisation or a brand, provide:
- the VibeNest profile URL;
- the name of the person or organisation being impersonated;
- the genuine or official profile or website, if available;
- an explanation of how the account is misleading people; and
- any other relevant evidence.
We may request reasonable proof of identity or authority where necessary to determine an impersonation claim.
If identity verification is necessary, we will ask only for information reasonably required for that purpose.
You should hide information on an identity document that we do not need.
Verification information will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the verification and any associated legal or security requirements.
Privacy and Doxxing Reports
You can report Content that improperly exposes private or sensitive personal information, including:
- a private home address;
- private telephone number;
- private email address;
- identity documents;
- financial information;
- credentials or authentication information; or
- other sensitive personal information.
Whether information violates our rules depends on context.
Information being publicly available somewhere else does not necessarily mean that every use or redistribution of it is acceptable on VibeNest.
Self-Harm and Suicide Content
VibeNest may allow supportive, educational, recovery-focused or awareness-related discussion about self-harm or suicide.
We may restrict or remove Content that:
- encourages self-harm or suicide;
- provides dangerous instructions;
- glorifies harmful behaviour;
- deliberately targets vulnerable people; or
- otherwise violates our Community Standards.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than relying solely on a VibeNest report.
Scam, Phishing and Malware Reports
Scams, phishing, credential theft, malware, IP grabbers and other malicious links are prohibited.
Where a report indicates a significant security risk, VibeNest may temporarily restrict a profile or link while we investigate.
Confirmed malicious activity may result in immediate permanent suspension.
Adult Content Reports
When reviewing an adult-content report, we may consider whether:
- sexually explicit material is being directly hosted or displayed on VibeNest;
- an external adult link has appropriate restrictions or warnings;
- the account is eligible to publish that type of external link;
- a person involved appears to be under 18;
- content appears exploitative or non-consensual; or
- the material otherwise violates our Community Standards or applicable law.
Accounts belonging to users under 18 may not publish or promote adult or sexually explicit content.

If you believe Content on VibeNest infringes copyright that you own or are authorised to enforce, you can submit a Copyright Report.

A copyright report should include:
1. Rights holder
Your name and whether you are:
- the copyright owner; or
- authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Copyrighted work
Identify the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list where legally appropriate.
3. Reported Content
Provide the exact VibeNest URL or other information necessary for us to locate the allegedly infringing Content.
4. Contact information
Provide appropriate contact information so we can communicate with you regarding the complaint.
5. Good-faith statement

6. Accuracy and authority

7. Electronic signature
Provide your legal name as an electronic signature.
Knowingly submitting a false intellectual-property complaint may have legal consequences.
Copyright counter-notices
If your Content was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was incorrect, you may submit a counter-notice where an applicable copyright process allows it.
We may provide additional instructions depending on the jurisdiction and type of claim involved.
Submitting a counter-notice may result in your contact information being provided to the original claimant where applicable law requires or permits this.
Trademark Reports
If you believe a VibeNest profile or Content infringes a trademark or creates unlawful confusion with your brand, provide:
- the trademark or right you claim;
- registration number, if applicable;
- country or jurisdiction of registration;
- owner of the trademark;
- the VibeNest URLs involved;
- an explanation of the alleged infringement;
- evidence supporting the claim; and
- confirmation that you own the right or are authorised to act for its owner.
We may ask for additional information before taking action.

What happens after a report?
After a report is submitted, VibeNest may generate a reference such as:
VN-RPT-XXXXXXXX
Keep this Report ID if you want to refer to the case later.
A report may move through statuses such as:
Received → Under Review → Resolved
If you provided an email address, we may also send updates by email.
Where available, you may check the status of a report using your Report ID together with the appropriate email address or verification token.
How long does a review take?
We do not guarantee a fixed review time.
Reports are prioritised according to factors such as:
- seriousness;
- immediate risk;
- child safety;
- potential illegality;
- security risk;
- quality of the evidence;
- complexity of the case; and
- legal obligations that apply.
Serious safety issues may be reviewed ahead of ordinary policy reports.
Where applicable law requires action within a specific period, we will apply the legally required process.
What action can VibeNest take?
Depending on the report and our investigation, we may:
- take no action;
- request more information;
- remove content;
- disable a link;
- add a warning;
- apply an age or sensitive-content restriction;
- limit profile visibility;
- restrict account features;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- permanently terminate an account;
- preserve information where legally necessary;
- prevent repeat abuse;
- report relevant matters to competent authorities where legally required or appropriate; or
- take other proportionate action.
The appropriate response depends on the circumstances.
A report does not automatically mean that Content or an account will be removed.
Reporting to authorities
VibeNest does not automatically send every user report to law enforcement.
Information may be disclosed where:
- we are legally required to do so;
- we receive a valid legal demand;
- applicable law creates a reporting obligation;
- there is an appropriate legal basis relating to a serious safety threat;
- it is necessary to protect someone's vital interests where legally permitted; or
- another legally recognised circumstance applies.
We aim to disclose only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Report outcomes
Where possible and appropriate, we may tell a reporter whether a report resulted in action.
For example, we may tell you that:
- the reported Content was removed;
- an account was restricted;
- we did not find a violation;
- more information is required; or
- the matter was resolved in another way.
We generally will not disclose:
- private information about another user;
- confidential security information;
- detailed internal moderation methods;
- information that could interfere with an investigation; or
- information we are legally prohibited from disclosing.
If we decide not to take action, we may provide a general explanation where appropriate.
False or abusive reports
Reports must be submitted in good faith.
You must not use the reporting system to:
- harass another user;
- repeatedly submit knowingly false reports;
- impersonate a rights holder;
- submit fabricated evidence;
- overwhelm the reporting system;
- manipulate moderation; or
- retaliate against another person.
Deliberate abuse of the reporting system may result in:
- rate limiting;
- rejected reports;
- restrictions on reporting;
- account restrictions; or
- account suspension.
VibeNest may use Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits and other anti-abuse measures to protect the reporting system.
Appeals
Being reported does not automatically mean that a user violated our rules.
If VibeNest takes moderation action against your Content or account, you may be able to appeal through our separate Appeal a VibeNest Decision process.
An appeal may have the following statuses:
Received → Under Review → Resolved
When reviewing an appeal, we may:
- maintain the original action;
- reduce or modify the action;
- restore Content;
- restore an account;
- reverse the decision; or
- request additional information.
Appeals are reviewed based on the information available, our Terms, Community Standards and applicable law.
